NEW PARKING LOT IN CHATSWORTH
This project entailed converting a large dirt field into an asphalt paved parking lot with curbs, lighting stanchions, and drainage catchments. Surface and sub-surface grading and material application was required along with concrete pouring services followed by application of a top asphalt surface. Surface compaction and rolling of the asphalt surface for leveling and durability were also required
California Paving and Grading was able to perform all required services to completely transform a former dirt field into a well built parking lot.
Highlights of the project
The customer wanted to convert a dirt field into a new parking lot.
The customer chose our company because they wanted one contractor to perform the entire job. California Paving and Grading offered all the services required at a competitive price.
- We excavated and hauled away hundreds of cubic yards of dirt.
- We formed and poured concrete planter curbs, gutters , light standards, and built an infiltration pit for excess water catchment.
- We applied a stabilized rock base under the asphalt, curbs and gutters.
- We applied a 3″ thick asphalt surface on top.
